Our BVIs during COVID-19

By Siti Nor | Social Care Officer

During the MCO (Movement Control Order), CMCO (Conditional Movement Control Order), and RMCO (Recovery Movement Control Order), our Blind and Visually Impaired (BVI) community and Ex-Nicholites are confronted by additional obstacles as they are incapable of going out by their own to purchase essential groceries.
St. Nicholas Home, Penang quickly went into action, working together with all our generous donors and also JKM Pulau Pinang, RELA, our SNH staff, and social care officer. We delivered 140 Care Packages (essential grocery items) to our BVI and Ex-Nicholites at Penang Island, Mainland, Kuala Kurau, Ipoh, Parit Buntar, Sungai Petani, and Perlis in a total of 9th trips.
We will continue to accept donations to help these BVI communities in Malaysia during this Covid-19 pandemic.
