Empower mothers to build their careers

We are pleased to share with you an inspiring story that highlights the impact of your generous contributions. This report focuses on Kateryna, a dedicated mother, and her daughter, Anastasiia, whose journey has been both challenging and uplifting.

Kateryna faced significant obstacles when her daughter was born with an illness that required her constant attention, forcing her to put her educational and career goals on hold. However, showing remarkable resilience, Kateryna has recently taken the initiative to pursue her passion for baking by studying to become a pastry chef. She is determined to improve her skills and eventually build a career in this field to be able to provide for her daughter: 

''When my daughter was born with an illness, I couldn't study as I had planned. I was in the hospital all the time. Now, I am studying to become a pastry chef, and I plan to continue working in that field. However, I don't have enough resources to purchase what I need to improve my skills and continue learning.''

Thanks to your generous donations, we were able to provide Kateryna with the equipment she needed, including a mixer, a saucepan, ladles, baking pans, and kitchen scales, totalling USD 216.
