The Cricket Tournament took part in April this year to celebrate the International Day for Street Children. Taking part in the tournament, competing against other children's homes and making new friends, really inspired our boys.
So now cricket has become a daily routine for our boys and they are all loving it. Even our youngest boys, 5 to 7 years old, are trying their skills and we are very impressed - there are definitely some future Nepal National Cricket Team players at our home!
Daily schedule is pretty busy for all our boys - first school, then various activities (computer, typing, guitar, arts, dance, cooking), homework, cleaning and the favourite part of the day for most of them - cricket. During my recent visit there, I was pretty much forced to take a lot of photos of our boys with a cricket bat or a ball. And I was also being taught by them how to play cricket for the first time in my life - so I might be joining Our Sansar cricket team shortly as well!
The boys will be joining a local club shortly and they are hoping they will win the next year's Cricket Tournament. We need to provide them with more classes with the coach but they are truly inspirational because of their team spirit and enjoying every moment of the game.
And as with any other project, your donations are helping our boys reach their dreams. So thank you so much for all the support!
