Bring Relief and Hope to 2,500 Families in Syria

In the heart of the suffering endured by thousands of displaced families in northern Syria, specifically in Maram Camp, the teams of Amal Alumma met the family of young Hamza, who lives in a modest tent with his parents and two brothers, Hazem and Taha, under extremely difficult conditions.

Hamza, an innocent child full of hope, continues to smile despite the harsh circumstances surrounding him and the severe food insecurity they face. His parents do their best to provide for the family, but with rising prices and scarce job opportunities, even basic daily needs have become a heavy burden.

Thanks to your generous donations, Amal Alumma was able to distribute a comprehensive food basket to Hamza’s family. The basket contained essential food items sufficient for several weeks, bringing relief and reassurance to their hearts during these trying times.

Receiving this aid made a profound impact on the family. Hamza’s father expressed his gratitude, saying:
"We were going through difficult days, not knowing how we would feed our children the next day. But this food basket felt like mercy from the heavens. May God reward you abundantly."

Since the day he was born, Ahmed has known no other home but this tent—his entire world shaped by displacement and hardship.

The family relies almost entirely on humanitarian aid to meet their daily needs. With no stable income and aging grandparents suffering from chronic illnesses, life has become an overwhelming challenge.
