Bring Relief and Hope to 2,500 Families in Syria

Khaled was displaced with his family since 2014 from his city, Maarat al-Numan, to escape the war that struck that year.

Khaled, a father of three children, lives in a small camp containing about 30 tents and located outside the city of Soran.Before the war in Syria, Khaled owned a beautiful house in his city and worked as a history teacher in the school in his neighborhood.

 Khaled is now living in difficult humanitarian conditions. He cannot find work permanently, and in light of the current conditions in northern Syria, the opportunity to obtain a job that suits him as a history teacher is almost non-existent, so Khaled does not find many options for work.

Khaled helped us a lot in counting the number of families in the camp and organizing them into spreadsheets. He also supervised with us the distribution process and refused to receive any assistance until everyone in the camp received it. In fact, he was the last person we delivered the food basket to.

Khaled expressed his thanks and gratitude to the donors who contributed to this campaign, as Khaled was able to provide enough food for his children who had not received a balanced diet for a long time, as most families there depend on bread only as a basic meal. Thanks to your generosity, Khaled was also able to save a little of the money he earned over the past few days to meet his family's other needs.
