Nourishing Lives, Rekindling Dreams in Syria

By Hasan Sadik | Project leader

Dear Donor,

In Syria, where children's laughter has been silenced by the rubble of suffering, and innocence has become fuel for the flames of conflict, children like Marwa live without dreams, without safety, and often without food. The world has abandoned its conscience, leaving these children to face a cruel fate they never chose.

Marwa, a young girl from Al-Jabana Camp in the countryside of Azaz, northern Syria, caught our attention with her eyes that carry a thousand stories of pain. When we asked her about her dreams, she softly replied, "I have no dream... All I want is food." How can a child, at such a tender age, have her only concern be her next meal?

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to provide Marwa and her family with a food basket containing essential items such as sugar, rice, bulgur, lentils, oil, and tea. This basket was not just food; it was life. It was a temporary sense of safety for a child who finally felt that someone cared, that someone was listening.

Your support is more than just aid; it is a message of love and humanity reaching those in desperate need. Continuing this project means that hundreds of other children like Marwa won’t go to bed hungry, and their hope for life will remain alive.

Dear donor, your continued support for this project is a lifeline for these children. It is the means through which we can restore some of the dignity that has been taken from them. Through you, we can give them a chance to dream again, to live without fear and without hunger.

We extend our deepest gratitude to every donor who has helped alleviate their suffering. You are the hope that keeps these small hearts beating with life. Your generosity transforms their lives, and your ongoing support writes them a better tomorrow.

With utmost appreciation
