Dear Donor,
In the countryside of Souran city in northern Syria, in one of the small informal camps, lives little Rawaa with her mother, grandmother, and aunt.
Their home is nothing more than a simple tent — barely enough to protect them from the summer heat and the winter cold. Life there is a daily struggle for survival.
Rawaa’s mother and aunt do their best to secure a dignified life for their elderly mother and for Rawaa, despite the absence of a breadwinner, the lack of job opportunities, and soaring prices that have turned even bread — the most basic necessity — into a distant dream.
But thanks to your kindness and generosity, we were able to deliver bread to this family. Yes — something as simple as bread, which has become a rare blessing for many displaced families — reached them because of you.
The moment we delivered the bread to Rawaa’s family was deeply moving, filled with tears of gratitude and the smile of a child who hasn’t known a normal childhood in years.
Thank you for standing with us, and for being a lifeline to those who have no one else.
With your support, we plant hope… and feed the hungry.
