A Food Basket... and a Ray of Warmth for Hearts Worn by Loss

By HASAN SADIK | Project leader

Dear Generous Donor,

In the countryside of Suran city, Mrs. Hasnaa lives with her elderly husband in a modest shelter home within one of the displacement centers. Despite its simplicity, it remains far better than the tents that burdened them for so many years.

They have lived with deep sorrow since losing their only son, Ghassan, in an airstrike on Aleppo in 2014. The pain of that loss still lingers in their hearts to this day. After fleeing Aleppo, they moved between camps searching for safety and a means to live with dignity in the twilight of their lives.

Thanks to your generous support, we were able to deliver a complete food basket to Mrs. Hasnaa’s home. It contained essential supplies to sustain them for several weeks. This basket brought comfort and joy, eased their burden, and gave them a brief sense of security in a life full of uncertainty.

Your continued support means the world to people like Mrs. Hasnaa and her husband, who have been worn down by war and time. Your donations do more than feed the hungry—they deliver compassion and dignity to those who need it most.

Thank you for your kindness. May God bless you and reward your generosity.
With heartfelt gratitude,
