Dear Donor
During the blessed days of Eid al-Adha, and thanks to your generous support, a share of Qurbani meat was distributed to the family of little Shaimaa, a 3-year-old girl who lives with her parents and her brother Hatem in a modest shelter home that was built as a replacement for a tent in one of the temporary displacement centers in the countryside of Azaz, northern Syria.
This simple home, with its bare walls that offer little more than basic protection from the cold and heat, witnessed a moment of joy that the family had long missed. The family had not tasted meat in many months. When the meat arrived, the mother quickly began preparing a festive meal, while Shaimaa sat quietly observing the scene with her innocent eyes, unaware that the meat she would eat that day had come from compassionate hearts far away.
Hatem, Shaimaa’s 12-year-old brother, had left school to help his father with occasional work to secure the family’s basic needs. Their mother, with immense patience, strives to create a sense of normalcy and joy for her children despite the harsh reality of displacement and poverty.
This distribution was not merely a meal—it was the revival of Eid spirit for a family worn out by war and hardship. Your donation brought happiness and dignity to this struggling household, reminding them that they are not forgotten.
We thank you for your generous giving and pray that Allah accepts your Qurbani and blesses your provision.
Eid Mubarak.
