In Al-Hayat Camp in northern Syria, little Rama lives with her mother, grandfather, and grandmother, after her parents separated due to difficult circumstances that left a deep impact on the family. The camp has become a temporary shelter, but life there is harsh—especially for a young child deprived of stability and basic support.
Despite her young age, Rama is fully aware of the hardship around her. Her mother does her best to provide for her, while her aging grandparents try to be a source of support despite their limited capabilities.
In the midst of this suffering, the financial assistance provided by our generous donors came as a ray of hope that eased many burdens. This support helped cover Rama’s essential needs—such as clothing and food—and contributed to meeting some of the family’s urgent obligations.
This assistance made a meaningful difference not just for Rama, but for the entire household. It reminded them that they are not alone, that there are kind people out there who care and are ready to help in their darkest times.
We sincerely thank everyone who contributed to bringing a smile back to Rama’s face. We count on your continued generosity to support children in need across Syria.
