In the outskirts of Souran city, northern Syria, lives young Walid, a child with special needs, who continues to face life's harshest conditions with silent resilience. Walid lives with both his parents in a modest, unfinished shelter that barely protects them from the sweltering summer heat or the biting winter cold.
Due to his condition, Walid requires constant care and attention. His family, struggling with poverty and unemployment, is unable to meet all of his basic needs—let alone the extra care and supplies his condition demands. Amidst this backdrop of hardship, your generous contributions brought much-needed relief.
Through your support, we were able to provide direct financial assistance to Walid’s family, helping them secure essential items such as food, hygiene supplies, and medication. This support also allowed the family to improve Walid’s daily care, offering him a bit of comfort in a world that has offered him little.
This intervention was not just about financial aid—it was about restoring dignity, offering hope, and reminding a vulnerable family that they are not forgotten.
