Bread... The Simplest Right for Children in the Camps

By MUHAMMED DEEBEH | Project leader

Dear Donor

In a worn-out tent inside Kafrah Camp in northern Syria, 10-year-old Rama lives with her parents and four siblings. Five children sharing poverty, cold, and hunger, while their mother struggles daily just to secure a piece of bread to keep them going.

Amid this harsh reality, they received their share of fresh bread—one of the most basic rights that has become a rare dream in the lives of the displaced. The joy on Rama’s face was as if it were a holiday. Just a few loaves of bread made a real difference in their day and gave the family a sense of dignity and care.

This initiative would not have been possible without your generosity and compassion. You are the reason a child like Rama went to sleep that night without hunger, and why her mother felt a brief moment of relief.

Your continued support is the only guarantee for life to go on in these forgotten camps.
Thank you for being the difference, every single day.
