In Pakistan, thousands of deaf and hard-of-hearing children remain undiagnosed or unsupported, especially in low-income and rural communities. Hearing aids are expensive, rarely available free of cost, and far beyond the financial reach of most families.
Without hearing aid support, children face serious challenges in speech development, education, communication, and social inclusion. Through support received via GlobalGiving crowdfunding, NDF Pakistan launched this project to provide hearing aids to deaf children, enabling them to hear, learn, and connect with the world.
Activities Implemented During Reporting Period
During the reporting period, NDF Pakistan implemented the following activities:
Identification and screening of children with hearing impairment
