Update Title: Free Rehabilitation Services for Children with Autism in Sindh
Organization: National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan
Dear Supporters,
We are pleased to update you on our project “Autism – A Learning Disability Needs Mainstreaming.”
NDF Pakistan is working tirelessly on the rehabilitation of children with Autism and other intellectual disabilities. At present, we are running five rehabilitation centers across Sindh — located in Nawabshah, Larkana, Hyderabad, and Karachi (Gulistan-e-Johar & Gulshan-e-Hadeed).
At these centers, we provide free rehabilitation services including:
Physiotherapy
Speech Therapy
Occupational Therapy
Psychotherapy
These services are vital in supporting children with Autism to improve communication, motor, and social skills, helping them transition into mainstream society. Every day, parents share stories of progress — from a child speaking their first words to another being able to play with peers more confidently.
Looking Ahead
Our mission is to expand services and ensure that more children with Autism in rural and urban Sindh receive the care they need. With your continued support, we will also strengthen awareness campaigns to reduce stigma and promote inclusion in schools and communities.
Thank You
We extend heartfelt gratitude to our donors and well-wishers. Your support enables NDF to provide life-changing services free of cost, ensuring that children with Autism in Pakistan are not left behind but are given the opportunity to thrive.
With gratitude,
Saira Lashari
Director Rehab, NDF Pakistan
