Implementing Organization: National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan
Location: Rural areas of Nawabshah, Sanghar, and Khairpur, Sindh

1. Project Overview
The Roshni Schools initiative provides free, inclusive, and quality education to children in remote and underserved rural areas of Sindh. Many of these children, especially girls and those with disabilities, have limited or no access to government schools due to poverty, discrimination, or distance. Roshni Schools are community-supported learning centers established and managed by NDF Pakistan, with the aim to bridge the education gap and promote lifelong learning.
2. Project Impact
260 children now have daily access to free education in safe and inclusive environments.
Students show significant improvement in literacy, numeracy, and confidence.
Increased community awareness around the importance of girls' education and inclusive learning.
Several children with disabilities are now attending school for the first time in their lives.
Dropout rates reduced due to flexible school hours, local female teachers, and free learning supplies.
