Progress Report
Project Title: Donate for Self-Made Roshni Schools in Rural Areas
Update Title: Awareness Sessions Held to Promote Free Quality Education in Roshni Schools
Organization: National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan
Dear Supporters,
We are happy to share progress on our project “Donate for Self-Made Roshni Schools in Rural Areas.”
During this reporting period, we conducted awareness sessions with parents and community members to highlight the importance of free quality education and to encourage more admissions in Roshni Schools. These sessions are helping us motivate families in rural Nawabshah to send their children — especially girls — to school.
At the same time, we are working hard to meet the needs of children for uniforms, shoes, notebooks, pens, and transportation (pick & drop). However, limited funds remain our biggest challenge. With more support, we will be able to distribute these essential items among students and ensure that no child is left behind due to poverty.
Looking Ahead
As fundraising continues through GlobalGiving and other resources, we plan to organize distribution of uniforms, books, stationery, and shoes for enrolled children. This will not only reduce the burden on families but also strengthen the vision of providing free, quality, and inclusive education in rural areas of Nawabshah, Pakistan.
Thank You
We sincerely thank all of our supporters for believing in the mission of Roshni Schools. Together, we can light the path of education for children in rural Sindh and give them the opportunities they deserve.
With gratitude,
Abid Lashari
President, NDF Pakistan
