Project Progress Report
Project Title: Seasonal Clothes for Disabled Persons
Implementing Organization: National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan
Location: Sindh (Nawabshah, Larkana, Hyderabad, Karachi)
Supported by: GlobalGiving Donors
Project Overview
This project aims to provide seasonal clothing (winter and summer) to persons with disabilities (PWDs) across underserved districts of Sindh. Many PWDs from marginalized families lack access to basic clothing suitable for extreme weather conditions, which impacts their health, dignity, and social participation. This initiative ensures that PWDs live with protection, warmth, and self-respect
Project Impact
PWDs now have appropriate clothing for current weather, which improves health, reduces illness, and boosts confidence.
Families report improved school attendance among children with disabilities who now have uniforms or season-appropriate clothes.
Distribution events helped raise disability awareness in local communities and created inclusive spaces for social interaction.
