Children with disabilities from low-income families in Sindh often lack access to proper seasonal clothing, especially during extreme weather conditions such as winter cold or summer heat. For many families, seasonal clothes are considered a luxury, not a basic need.
For children with disabilities, appropriate clothing is not only about comfort—it is about health, dignity, confidence, and inclusion. Through support received via GlobalGiving crowdfunding, NDF Pakistan initiated this project to distribute seasonal clothes free of cost to children and adults with disabilities.
Activities Implemented
During the reporting period, NDF Pakistan carried out the following activities:
Identification of children and adults with disabilities from low-income families
Assessment of seasonal needs (winter/summer clothing)
Procurement of new and suitable seasonal clothes
Distribution of clothes free of cost through community-based events
Engagement with parents and caregivers
Progress & Achievements
500 seasonal clothing kits distributed
500 children with disabilities benefited
500 families supported
Improved comfort, hygiene, and emotional well-being
