Dear Donor,
Our free health care project for people in social vulnerability continues at full steam.
In the last 3 months, we assisted more than 40 women, who underwent preventive exams, including 49 mammograms, breast exams performed in a device called a mammography device, with the objective of identifying alterations in the breast tissue and, above all, preventing breast cancer. And 40 Pap smears, which in addition to detecting precursor lesions of cervical cancer and HPV infection, the Pap smear indicates whether you have any other infection that needs to be treated.
All patients are from more than 6 social organizations assisted and attended regularly by Horas da Vida.
In addition to the independent exams, each patient has the right to a medical return for analysis of the exams and necessary treatment according to each case.
Your donation is very valuable to reach more women and prevent diseases that kill, like cancer.
Thank you very much and until next time!
