Implementing Organization: National Disability & Development Forum (NDF) Pakistan
Project Location: Sindh (Nawabshah, Larkana, Hyderabad, Karachi)
Supported by: GlobalGiving Donors
1. Project Overview
This project aims to support outdoor mobility and independence for persons with physical disabilities by providing tri-motorbikes. These motorbikes are customized to meet the needs of individuals who use wheelchairs or have mobility impairments, enabling them to travel for work, education, health services, and social inclusion—especially in areas where public transport is inaccessible.
02 persons with disabilities now have the ability to move independently, improving access to livelihoods, education, and healthcare.
Women with disabilities gained more confidence to attend vocational centers and participate in community activities.
Beneficiaries report reduced dependency on family members and increased self-esteem.
The tri-motorbike has become a symbol of dignity, empowerment, and mobility.
