As well as you know Noor's work in Rehabilitation. we complete our rehabilitation sesions and here you will find some of our programs for 34 children from Aida and Azza refugee camps in Brthlehem .
Speech therapy :
Swallowing difficulties may be present with speech difficulties because the swallowing system itself is responsible for the
Speech, and often the person concerned with evaluating swallowing problems is a speech therapist. The treatment is according to the location of the swallowing problem. For example, there are some people who suffer from the problem of swallowing in the oral preparatory stage. We treat it through exercises for the speech muscles so that they become stronger and can move them more efficiently. We treat the problem by The way to strengthen the speech muscles and have certain caveats:
. Doing the necessary massages to strengthen the facial muscles (face mussage)
. Oral stimulating massages for the muscles inside the mouth
. The use of (kinesio tap) works to control salivary flow in this category of children.
Physiotherapy :
One of the most important tools used in physical therapy: the use of large medical balls (physioball)
They are large inflatable rubber balls, used in multiple physiotherapy regimens, as they help the child perform a wide range of entertaining exercises that contribute to supporting him with many benefits, the most important of which are:
. Improving balance problems in the child.
. Giving the body strength and flexibility.
. Improve the ability to coordinate movements
. Enhance motor skills
Autism and learning difficulties:
Recognize colors through several activities.
Cognitive exercises for children The exercises are characterized by:
. It contains a set of activities through which the desired goal of the unit can be achieved by recognizing colors through colored balls.
. Cognitive exercises through which the child's perceptions are expanded to learn about new things by recognizing the combinations of colors and the name of each color.
Awarness sesion:
The Nour Association for People with Disabilities launched the "Spaces for Change" project with the Palestinian Center for Communication and Development Studies
Walid Al-Khatib, a member of the administrative body of the People’s Committee, a representative of the Social Sector Committee, and Mrs. Islam Abu Srour, head of the administrative body of the Nour Association for People with Disabilities, and a member of the Administrative Board of the People’s Committee, representing the Social Sector Committee, attended the event, and Mr. Jamil Al-Darbashi, a representative of The Palestinian Center for Communication and Development Studies and Ms. Mona Al-Lahham, representative of the Palestinian Center, Projects Coordinator
Where the project included on the civic participation of women and the role of women in civic and community participation,
The workshop focused on improving the role of women in Aida camp in civic and community participation and the process of democratic renewal within the grassroots institutions to ensure women’s democratic access to civil society institutions and mechanisms to activate women’s societal participation. The current woman and her ambition to reach decision-making centers in Aida camp. The participants also discussed in detail the mechanisms for accessing decision-making within civil society institutions within the framework of elections at the local level. At the end of the workshop, the participants recommended the need to intensify awareness-raising activities, especially those related to improving women’s societal and civic roles In the targeted camps and the response mechanisms of grassroots institutions to give them opportunities to implement creative initiatives that contribute to the community’s reference to their achievements as a guarantor of their access to decision-making centers and the improvement of their civic and community participation and the reflection of this on their leadership role
