Jambo,
We hope this message finds you well. Thanks to your continued support, our students are thriving, growing, and discovering the joy of learning in so many beautiful ways.
This term has been full of exciting milestones and meaningful moments. Our Class Seven students are sitting for their National Exams, a major step in their academic journey. They’ve studied diligently and approached this challenge with confidence and determination. We are incredibly proud of their hard work and perseverance.
In the lower classes, our young learners are making remarkable progress as they learn to read. The joy on their faces as they sound out new words is a reminder of how powerful education can be in opening up new worlds. The songs that the teachers incorporate into the classrooms not only support their learning, but allow for movement and fun in their lessons.
Our Class Five students have been learning to tell time, an important skill that they’ve embraced with enthusiasm. Meanwhile, Class Six has taken a bold leap into the world of technology, learning how to code and build their computer skills. Their excitement and curiosity are truly inspiring as they explore this new field.
But learning at Ikirwa doesn’t stop when the school day ends. After school, our students bring the campus to life, playing football on the field, jumping rope with laughter, and letting their creativity shine through coloring and art. These simple moments of joy and togetherness are as important as anything learned in the classroom.
None of this would be possible without you. Your generosity is not only helping to build a school, it's nurturing dreams, creating opportunities, and transforming lives.
Thank you for believing in our students, in their potential, and in the power of education to create lasting change. We are deeply grateful to have you as part of the Ikirwa School family.
All the best,
Rose Hogan
