During the recent physical event that brought us together with our orphaned students at the Masarat center in Idlib, we asked them a question that seems simple but carries the depth of their tragedies and ambitions: "What does hope mean to you?". The answers we received were lessons in strength and a willpower that cannot be broken by life's storms.
For these children and youth, hope was not just a poetic word; it was an "action" and a "decision to persist." It is that flame that drives a student like Ahmad to pursue his studies despite his injury, and the certainty that makes Fatimah smile while carrying her university books on her wheelchair. Their answers proved that for an orphan, hope is "education" that breaks the chains of need and displacement.
This close communication allowed us to hear the voice of their will clearly. Thank you to everyone who supports "Masarat" and helps us keep these students steadfast on the path of knowledge; you are not just funding education, but nurturing this hope that transforms challenges into success stories we all take pride in.
