"I hope a day comes when I carry this bag with books and notebooks inside, and head to my school desk instead of going to work."
With this heavy heart, Majd leaves his tent every morning. An orphan displaced by war, Majd carries his bag not to fill it with knowledge, but to carry the tools of a grueling workday to support his family, for Majd, the bag is a symbol of the "student" living within him, yet reality pushes him away from school desks toward exhausting workshops.
At "Masarat," we fight so that Majd doesn't have to choose between a loaf of bread and his right to learn, our digital platform is the school that follows him to his workplace and waits for him in his tent at night, mending what orphanhood and displacement have broken, we strive to change the contents of that bag; from heavy work tools to books that open horizons where he is an "engineer" or a "doctor," not just a child crushed by fatigue.
With your kindness, we can return Majd to his rightful place, behind a school desk, your donation today ensures the continuity of education for working orphans and eases the burden of survival, Be the reason Majd’s bag is filled with books, not burdens.
