This was more than just a fleeting encounter with a Masarat student; it was the moment Yamen reclaimed the stolen radiance of his childhood.
Years ago, the loss of his father left Yamen face-to-face with responsibilities far beyond his young age. The child who once dreamed of pens and notebooks was forced to toil for survival. Though his body was distant from the classroom, his soul and eyes remained anchored there, fixed on every word he read and every school he passed.
When we informed him that GlobalGiving donors had sponsored his education for an entire year, his eyes welled with tears, not of sadness this time, but of sheer wonder and joy. With a sincerity that touches the heart, he told us:
"Words of gratitude are not enough for those who believed I could build my future. Please, tell them I will not let them down."
On behalf of every orphan who found in your generosity a guardian and a support, and on behalf of every member of the Masarat team who sees in your donations the light illuminating our students' paths: Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
