Adam and Salma, Two Orphans Like No Other

By Abdulrazak Madi | Project Leader

In the cramped corners of the refugee camp, where loss and displacement test the resilience of hearts, an inspiring story unfolds starring Salma and her brother Adam.

"Adam is my support and my only friend in this world," Salma says of her brother. Adam responds with a grateful smile: "Salma is the light that brightens my darkest days after our parents' passing." Having lost parental support and a mother’s tenderness, these two children did not succumb to despair. Instead, they decided to turn their shared pain into fuel for one dream: Success.

While they share meager rations and a small space, Adam and Salma also share a single screen to follow their lessons on the Masarat platform. They study together, encourage each other in moments of exhaustion, and plan for a future that will compensate them for every cold night and every moment of need. For them, education is not just books; it is the "path back" to a dignified life.

Because of your generosity, orphans like Salma and Adam find the tools that make self-actualization possible, Thank you for giving them the right to dream, and for being the seeds of goodness that grow hope in the land of displacement. Your support makes Salma and Adam believe that tomorrow will be brighter.
