Every morning, young Qasim, an orphaned boy, picks up his scissors and comb instead of his school bag. His small hands have grown accustomed to the tools of a barber, while his heart yearns for the feel of a pen and the pages of a notebook.
Qasim’s story is the story of thousands of orphans forced to choose between bread and books. Due to severe financial hardship, education becomes a luxury they cannot afford. This creates a risk of permanent academic dropout, trapping talented children in cycles of labor far beyond their years.
At Masarat, we ensure that Qasim doesn't have to choose between his livelihood and his future:
Preventing Dropouts: Through our digital platform, Qasim can access his lessons at any time, even after a long day of work.
Rebuilding the Future: We provide the flexibility he needs to keep his dream alive, ensuring that his current job is a stepping stone, not the finish line.
Your generosity provides the "pens" Qasim uses to write his future at night, after he works with his hands all day. Thank you for making the return to the dream possible.
