By Marianella Paul | Director Autismo en Voz Alta - Project Leader
Dear Donors,
What a great two weeks of fundraising!!! We are pleased to announce that THANKS to all of you, we have met 50% of our goal.
For many families, their dreams are coming true! Without generous donors such as you, this would not have happened. We cannot express enough our gratitude. The prospect of not being able to afford and continue the education of the children is just horrifying. Many Venezuelan families are struggling to meet their children’s educational demands due to hyperinflation. Thus, their best hope for this program to continue is through donors like you.
As of today, thanks to your generous contributions, our students will receive at least the same financial support they have received this school year.
In addition, your enthusiastic support and quick response has opened new and fantastic possibilities at Autismo en Voz Alta. If we can fully fund our project we can enroll 16 additional children to our program next school year, and extend the amount and the number of scholarships we give.
Imagine, more students to have hope of developing their skills towards a better and independent quality of life. What a wonderful and exciting outlook!
While we continue our fundraising efforts, our Program Director will commence work to open a new classroom to welcome these 16 new students. Our Technical Director will prepare to develop their individual educational programs, and our Staff is fully engaged in processing admission and scholarship requests. In addition, during the summer, our top management will review and strengthen our audit and intervention process to maintain the quality of our program.
On June 17, Global Giving will match 20% of all donations from 25US$ to 1,000 US$, on a first come and first matched basis, until all funds run out. Won’t you please spread the word and share with your friends to help us meet the remaining 50% of our goal in June? We truly hope that you will be as excited as we are in our efforts.
Will continue reporting …
The hands of many kids with autism are shaking yours in appreciation.
