Educate after school-underprivilege children-India

Thank you for all your generous contribution for the education to under privileged children through esteemed organization GlobalGiving.

Your generous  contributions and support helped us to provide after school education program to 1200+ under privileged children. we hve provide not only after school education, but also school fees, writing materials, school kit, uniforms,food support to orphan children and treatment while they were sick, we helped disable by providing tri-cycles, hearing aids, psyotheraphy and specs to differently abled children. 240 tribal children also benefitted with meal support and clothes for general use.

We conducted summer camps to the under privileged children to stop the child labor activities during this summer.We could able to stop child labor during summer and thus all the children are attending school today without any difficulty.

It is a great acievement for us, without you it was not possible for us to do all these. All our children are happy and studying well.CHHASE and our staff thanking you for your generosity to help the under privileged children.

One of our tribal beneficiary child parent said" My name is Rekha. my husband is a wood cutter. He get labor work not even 100 days in a year. i go for house keeping work. what we get is not sufficient to provide one meal a day to our children. But today our children are getting school fee, uniforms, school bag,note books, writing materials & food from CHHASE after school education program. I thank CHHASE and it's supporters for helping our children education and food." 

CHHASE and under privileged children education

As part of ongoing initiatives we take up education sponsorship program for the deprived children in High Schools. There after seeing the critical junctures / family backgrounds of the children, progress in education we identify the children from the class rooms and discuss with them about their needs and other essentials. But it is really pathetic stories of many bright girl children, whose parents are working as daily wage labourers in Market Yards, Scavenging, Rikshaw Pulling, Construction Sites. Due to hazardous vocations some of the girl children are lost their parents too. But the adolescent girls are really having confidence and studying well and progressing good in their examinations. 

CHHASE is always with them and supporting the Educational Material includes, school fee, Note books, English-Tamil-English Dictionary, Writing Pad, Pencils, Pens, Colour Pencils,  Uniforms, Geometry Box, Colour Pencils,  School Bag etc. time to time. The Children are very active at sports and games. They are going to the schools regularly. The age group of the children are 10 yrs 15yrs. The Children are studying from 6 Std to X Std. 

Thanking you for your kind cooperation and financial support. With out your generous donations it is very difficult for us to provide the requisite material to the needy deprived children.

Your support enabled us to educate 10000+ so far. CHHASE is implementing after school education program, to enhance the children’s learning capacity. Along with their after school education the under privileged children, who study in private schools get school kits, fee, clothing etc. This year we are at present distributing school fee, 1200 school bags, note books,pen, pencil, eraser, sharpener, sketch pens etc.(few photo's are attached). Differently abled children also get tricycles, specs and hearing aids.  Apart from the above activities, all children from our after school centers get daily refreshment in the evening. Tribal children are provided with dinner, writing material & clothes to wear.

We have not forgotten our orphan children, who are looked after by their grandmothers and custodians, get food groceries, clothing, toiletries and other necessary items.

We are providing higher education scholarships to rural poor youth to go to high schools and colleges with fee, mess bill, hostel fee, transport etc.

One of our beneficiary said that " i am from poor family. Due to lack of money, my father want to stop me from school.Because of CHHASE NGO help, i am studying in school.I am getting very education, support from my evening class teachers. I am getting refreshment daily in evening.Our evening class teachers are teaching us to be hyegenic. with this support, i will complete my 12th grade and go for a small job and look after my illiterate helpless parents.I thank you for helping me to study."
