This May, HCC Nepal, in partnership with Fun Kids Nepal, conducted a successful summer field visit across Dhading, Rasuwa, Nuwakot, Kathmandu, and Banepa. The visit focused on providing students with essential supplies, checking academic progress, and offering emotional support.
Key Highlights:
Success Story: Kanchan
A powerful moment unfolded in Dhading on this most recent trip. Kanchan joined HCC’s Rise Program in 2015 after her mother died in the earthquakes and her family home was destroyed. Kanchan recently graduated from high school with a 3.2 GPA, an impressive milestone. She now has secured a job working in the local municipality. Kanchan’s journey—from hardship to government service—demonstrates the life-changing impact of education and sustained care.
We’re proud to see many students advancing to higher grades and career paths, growing with resilience and purpose.
Special thanks to local governments, schools, students, families, Fun Kids Nepal, and all our donors. Your support fuels every success.
