HCC Nepal RISE Fall GlobalGiving Report

Himalayan Children’s Charities (HCC) Nepal’s RISE Program currently supports 86 students across various districts of Nepal. The majority of these students live with their families and receive educational scholarships, while 17 students reside in nearby boarding schools to access better educational opportunities.

Following the month-long festival break, all students have now returned to their schools and resumed their studies. Our team remains in regular communication with students, families, and partner schools to ensure their continued well-being and academic progress.

Through the RISE Program, HCC Nepal is committed to providing:

  • Regular scholarship funds and school supplies
  • Personal care items for students in need
  • Academic guidance and career counseling
  • Emotional and social support through consistent follow-up

Student Highlights

Abhinav’s Achievement:

Abhinav lost his father during the 2015 earthquake and has been under HCC’s support ever since. With consistent encouragement and educational assistance, he successfully completed Grade 12 in Science this year. We are proud to share that Abhinav has now enrolled in a Bachelor’s program in Information Technology at a renowned college in Kathmandu, continuing his academic journey with HCC’s support.

Norgen and Krishal’s Progress:
Two of our RISE students, Norgen and Krishal, have recently enrolled in Grade 11 under the Management stream in Kathmandu to pursue their higher secondary education. Both students are highly motivated and grateful for the continued support that has made this next step possible.

As we move into the new academic term, HCC Nepal remains dedicated to empowering RISE students through holistic support—ensuring that each child not only continues their education but also grows in confidence, resilience, and hope for a brighter future.
