Fundación Comunitaria Don Diego and YouthBuild – Jóvenes con Rumbo announce strategic alliance to strengthen education and employability for rural youth
Fundación Comunitaria Don Diego A.C. (FCDD) and YouthBuild – Jóvenes con Rumbo today announced the signing of a strategic alliance aimed at expanding educational, technical, and employment opportunities for underserved children and youth in the rural community of Don Diego and surrounding areas.
During the signing ceremony, representatives from both organizations highlighted that this collaboration will integrate FCDD’s comprehensive educational model—successfully developed over more than seven years—with YouthBuild’s proven methodology for technical training and employability.
Demonstrated educational impact
Since its creation, FCDD has advanced significantly in its mission to break the cycle of poverty through education, implementing programs designed to:
As a result, more than 435 students have continued their path toward higher education, and in partnership with UNETE, the use of technology for academic and social development has increased substantially.
FCDD’s comprehensive support model is recognized as an outstanding reference in rural education.
A complementary model with high potential
YouthBuild – Jóvenes con Rumbo contributes intensive high-school completion programs for youth who have left school, along with technical training, life-skills development, youth leadership, and employer connections for job placement.
The alliance will enable the creation of complete educational pathways:
childhood → adolescence → technical / university studies → dignified employment
The expected outcome is deeper, more sustainable social impact, expanding development opportunities for young people in the region.
