We are rallying our donors and sponsors to Give the Gift of Education in 2025! The last few years have brought unprecedented changes worldwide and Nicaragua is no exception. This year we are asking for donations to our scholarship drive to help support Nicaraguan families and provide a truly life-changing bilingual education for all students. We are providing scholarships for low-income students who qualify. We ask donors to consider becoming a recurring donor to make a lasting impact!
Since the onset of the 2018 socio-political crisis, Nicaragua has suffered. Then, people lived in fear after protests turned violent. After, Nicaraguans were rebuilding when Covid-19 struck followed by two major hurricanes end of 2020. Last year, changing Geopolitics have cut off crucial funding sources. Even with our best work, Escuela Adelante cannot sustain the rate of scholarship requests without donor support. This year, this is a problem we can solve together.
We can support families by providing emergency relief to supplement tuition at the school. Donors can provide a scholarship to help alleviate the financial pressure on the organization and the family. An Escuela Adelante education is more than just learning English - we provide 2 healthy meals daily, and a supportive environment for the entire family. Together, we can ensure that the school that the resources and tools it offers continue to be within reach of all families.
We support the disadvantaged to rise out of poverty through education. We make a big difference in the community. In Nicaragua hope goes far to propel a family to seek Escuela Adelante. The child attends so that they have greater potential in life. We especially support girls in education, special needs and make accommodations regardless of socioeconomic status.
