This Thanksgiving, Christmas and holiday season, we have launched our Phoenix Appeal for daily food and fresh fruit for all our children in our projects in Guatemala. From 2013 we want to add in a nutritious breakfast for the children, as well as the daily fresh fruit we have always given. We have seen such advances in education and nutrition levels of the children since we started this scheme 10 years ago. Food feeds the stomach as well as the brain; a healthy, full child will learn better and we strive to provide the children as good an education as we can.
