Hello Supporters!
In South Africa yesterday our partner school kicked off a breakfast club funding by the lovely donors of Action Change on GlobalGiving and it is already took attendance on the second day fron 72% to 98% and teachers can see the difference to child concentration.
At our schools we also try to provide lunch for all the children however we are not able to do this every day and for every class as it really depends on donations. However we have never had enough support or funding to supply breakfast but we reallly want to try.
Without a regular lunch program our teachers have reported a decline in grades as children are hungry and not as active in class, as breakfast helps the children for the day we want to secure a regular donation of $800 to feed all 412 children breakfast daily, our new breakfast club, we believe this is more important than the ad-hoc lunch program and therefore if anyone would like to kick start a monthly donation to us we would be really greatful.
One day we will be able to provide breakfast, lunch and snack 7 days a week for all our children but until then we continue to do what we can witih your support!
Thank You,
