Title: Restoring Hope through Education: Ahmed’s Journey
"I thought my future was over when we fled our home, but this school gave me my life back." These are the words of Ahmed (10 years old), a displaced child in Yemen whose education was interrupted by the ongoing crisis. After a year of being out of school due to the lack of resources, Ahmed was reintegrated through SORD’s educational project.
The intervention went beyond the classroom; Ahmed received daily morning meals that improved his concentration and health. He also participated in psychosocial support sessions to help him process the trauma of displacement. Today, Ahmed is not just a student; he is a symbol of resilience among the 500 children receiving school supplies and a future
