As Eid Al-Adha approaches, a time of sacrifice, compassion, and solidarity, Noor Society for People with Disabilities reaches out to you with an urgent humanitarian appeal. This Eid comes at a time of deep economic hardship for many Palestinian families, especially following the war and the continuing rise in living costs.
This year, Noor Society aims to distribute 3 kilograms of Qurbani meat to 200 vulnerable families, ensuring that they can celebrate Eid with dignity and a shared meal. Each family consists of 6 to 10 members, and every household includes at least one child with a disability who requires continuous care, treatment, and additional financial support.
These families are among the poorest and most vulnerable in the community. Alongside poverty and unemployment, they face the heavy costs of disability care, including medications, diapers, therapy sessions, and assistive needs. With meat prices becoming increasingly unaffordable, many families would otherwise be unable to provide a proper meal during Eid.
Through this Qurbani campaign, we seek to:
Bring joy and dignity to families during Eid Al-Adha
Provide essential nutritional support to large households
Ease the financial burden on families caring for children with disabilities
Strengthen community solidarity through meaningful sacrifice
Your Qurbani donation is more than a gift of meat—it is a gesture of mercy and inclusion. Just 3 kilograms of meat can make a real difference for a family struggling to meet its basic needs.
We invite you to take part by:
Donating a full Qurbani or a share of a Qurbani
Contributing toward meat distribution for one or more families
Launching a peer-to-peer Eid fundraiser among friends and family
Together, we can reach 200 families, ensuring that Eid Al-Adha is a moment of joy, not deprivation, for children with disabilities and their loved ones.
