A Poor farming family prepared low cost shelter mud made houses near Matli
AHD female staff conducted meeting in different household families during 15th to 20th February 2016 to know the update situation of houses constructed by poor village families through orientation session and meeting by AHD staff. Some 23% families repaired their houses and some of them well repaired and extended houses in village of Chotho Kolhi near Matli to save their women and children from upcoming summer season and moon soon season as well.
AHD staff very happy to see the progress of poor farming communities and their interest to update their houses for the next moon soon season

Monitoring visit conducted by AHD staff to 15 villages during Dec 2015
AHD staff conducted visit in 15 villages during the December 2015 and come to know that village families repaired their houses and now happily enjoying the facility of the houses for their women and children.
The village women and men share that they used the roofing kits to repair their houses but now they re-plaster by mud their roof again their houses to make possible long run of their houses. The mud houses remain hot in winter and cold in summer.
For the first quarter 2016, AHD plans to support 250 more families with roofing kit which includes cost of 250 US $ for one house. Total funds needed US $ 62,500/= we at AHD hopeful for this support from Global Giving existing donors and new ones. For more please feel free to contact us at ahdpak@gmail.com

Pakistan is one of the country where floods continue since 2010 and till 2015 million of people affected and lost their houses, some 30% provided with shelter and low cost housing but still large scale families suffering without houses and residing in open sky in different areas of Sindh. During the visit of women staff in working areas, minority families women expressed their situation that they do not have shelter/beds and cloths for incoming winter season, During the visit in flood affected areas the snaps taken showing the worst situation of poor families. We at AHD want to support some families and we looking you all support and donations
Project Progress: AHD staff provided awareness and meetings in families residing without shelter, staff also conducted door to door visits in some 19 villages and come to know the updated need and situation of flood victims.
