A Community Health Center Building in El Rodeito

Overview The El Rodeito project continues to move forward in meaningful ways. Thanks to the dedication of our volunteers, the commitment of our local partners, and the generosity of supporters like you, we are getting closer each month to establishing a fully operational community health center that will provide free, high-quality care in rural Honduras.

Project Progress: The future clinic will offer Primary Care, Maternal and Child Health Services, and Dental Care at no cost to local families. Construction, led by our partner Mayor Potencial, is progressing well. Current work is focused on securing the main electricity connection from town. The building’s superstructure remains on track for completion in early fall, followed by window and door installation. Planning for plumbing and the wastewater system has begun, with implementation expected later this year. We are also preparing for our upcoming 2026 medical brigades, where our teams will host satellite clinics in El Rodeito and check in on construction progress firsthand.

Looking Ahead Once completed, the health center will provide dependable, year-round care for hundreds of people in El Rodeito and surrounding areas—and serve as a foundation for future health programs and community initiatives. Continued donor support is essential to keeping construction on schedule and ensuring our medical brigades remain well-equipped.
