Help save an elephant today!
By Shayle Havemann | Project leader

Introduction
Our project works across Asia and actively rescues Elephants and rehabilitates them in a protected forest, whilst providing protection and monitoring to ensure they remain safe. We are working with conservationists and local community members to research alternative strategies for elephant conservation, this way our work can be sustainable as the greater community gets involved and becomes educated on the topic..
Report
Other threats include habitat loss and fragmentation with many elephants still in the wild being forced out of protected areas. We cannot just put elephants into protected areas, therefore need new strategies and research to help these elephants remain safe and continue to populate. A donation of $25 will provide emergency food for one elephant for one week.

Introduction
Many Elephants are forced to work in cities to bring in an income and this project aims to change this to a new strategy to promote ethical and responsible tourism in Asia. We are working with a number of carefully selected local communities to fight the illegal act of forcing elephants to work in the tourism trade, whilst working to guard the elephants that are still in the wild by monitoring and funding protected areas

Dear our amazing supporters all around the world!
We have recently moved our project focus from Thailand to Sri Lanka as we build a more sustainable project that is focused on tackling the global issues to help protect and rescue Asian Elephants.
Around 150 elephants and 50 people die each year due to Human Elephant Conflict. Our new project works with researchers and uses many theories that have been established over the years to help manage the number of Asian elephants and help to ensure we protect and save them from becoming endangered due to human interference. Alongside the research, implementation of a number of strategies to address this issue we continue to work to fight the tourist trade that uses elephants as a performance money maker.
2021 we are very excited with your support to begin working much more progressive and proactively to ensure we provide a sustainable future for these amazing animals across Asia.
Thank you for being the difference and actioning change for the future of the Asian Elephants. We wish you a very merry and safe festive season
All the best,
