Dear Supporters,
As the vaccines become available around the world it is a good time for food for thought, serious consideration and reflection on the past 12 months which lead to this emergency project.
Due to COVID-19 many charities around the world fell on seriously hard times and sadly many didn’t survive. For the first time in 15 years we had to launch a project to help us keep our lights on.While we had to emergency restructure and closed our office to embrace working from home and co-working spaces, it still costs us around $7,000 a month to run over 75 projects around the world, we are proud to have seriously low running costs but due to COVID we financially hit hard times.
Even with our fundraising taking a huge hit as a charity our number one priority we believed had to remain with our projects and as such we was able to ensure all our projects survived the past 12 months and we was able to provide additional help by feed over 500 people daily for 3 months, provided support to over 50 women victims of domestic violence, provided oxygen to a rural hospital in Peru and funded PPE for 4 of our frontline projects around world. We were able to do this because of donations from you to save our charity project that allowed us to also survive.
As we prepare to work on rebuilding all our projects and with a focus on getting our UN SDG’s work back on track in 2021 we still face challenging times with fundraising still significantly down. We still remain positive and focused on our work and thank you for continuing to support us as we prepare to get ourselves back on track too.
Thank You
