Recently, an intruder scaled our school fence and attacked a teacher in front of terrified children. The incident left staff shaken and children traumatized, showing how vulnerable our school is. With 140 young lives and staff depending on us every day, safety can no longer wait. We urgently need to build a secure perimeter wall. Without it, we cannot guarantee the protection of our school community. South Africa is dangerous, but this township desperately needs us and we're here to stay!
Our school serves 140 children in a township, where crime is a daily reality. Recently, an intruder jumped our fence and attacked a teacher and we're terrified. One security guard is not enough to protect our large campus, and as a small nonprofit, we struggle to cover basic expenses like food and electricity. Without a strong perimeter wall, the school remains dangerously exposed, putting children, teachers at risk and therefore we urgently need this project to help keep everyone safe
Launching this emergency project to build a strong, secure perimeter wall around our school. This wall will provide a permanent barrier against intruders, ensuring children and staff can learn and teach without fear. It's a huge expense we know we simply will never be able to afford as the cheapest quote is $28,000.
