Wildfires and instability have destroyed homes in Syria's coastal villages and Lebanon's Akkar region, displacing thousands. AICA responds on both sides of the border with food, rent and shelter support, urgent medical care, and trauma counseling directly and through its Syrian local NGO partners. Your donation helps families in Syria and Lebanon find safety, dignity, and hope as they recover and rebuild their lives.
Families in Syria's coastal villages and North Lebanon's Akkar region have lost homes, crops, and livelihoods to wildfires and ongoing instability. Already vulnerable, they now face homelessness, hunger, and untreated injuries and trauma. Women and children are especially at risk. Without urgent food, medical care, and shelter support, thousands remain trapped in fear and uncertainty.
This project delivers urgent food, rent, and shelter aid for displaced families in Syria's coast and Lebanon's Akkar, alongside medical care and trauma support. It provides hygiene kits, clothing, and school support for children while offering counseling and small livelihood assistance. These combined services restore safety and dignity, ensuring survival today and a pathway toward recovery and stability.
By meeting urgent needs now, this project builds a foundation for long-term recovery. Food and medical care prevent hunger and illness, while rent support keeps families safe. Education access gives children a future, and psychosocial care heals trauma for women and kids. Livelihood support fosters independence. Over time, these interventions restore dignity, resilience, and hope to families who lost everything.
