Hello friends
We wanted to share a realtime update on our Emergency Response & Disaster Relief work. While the war is drawing closer to an end, the road to recovery is just beginning—and there is still plenty to do.
So far, our teams have stayed on the ground, working with local partners to provide food, clean water, temporary shelter and psychological support to those affected. We have seen communities impacted by destruction, displacement and loss, and our work has focused on helping people rebuild, feel safe and regain hope.
Even as fighting reduces in some areas, the consequences remain: homes are destroyed, livelihoods are disrupted, children miss school, and health systems are weakened. Our focus now includes helping with mediumterm needs: repairing shelters, restoring services, reconnecting families, and helping people find work again.
Because the conflict created new levels of need, our resources are stretched. We are operating with less than we’d like and depend on every donation, share and act of support to keep this going. With your help we can do more: deliver more meals, distribute more hygiene kits, support more families to rebuild and ensure children can return to school.
Thank you for staying with us in this phase of transition. Your support is helping turn relief into recovery, and recovery into resilience.
Warm regards
