The OCHA Humanitarian Needs Overview 2023 was published on 23 January. Out of 35.6 million people living in Ukraine, 17.6 million people are estimated to be in need of multisectoral humanitarian assistance in 2023 (45% women, 23% children, 15% with disability). This includes 6.3 million internally displaced, 4.4 million returnees and 6.9 million who have remained at their homes throughout the war.

IBC in partnership with the local authorities in Ukraine are providing food and medical support for th IPD families in Ukraine. In partnership with local authorities, IBC has received the lists of the ones who are in need most. The beneficiaries were selected from the lists locally prepared. IBC distributed food parcels to nearly 1000 families in Odessa and Mykloiyv.

Procured goods distributed and going to be distributed according the schedule. The beneficiaries were informed before the goods were going to be distributed. They received the food items after they signed the beneficiary list. Anyone who need help, were assisted by the IBC staff on the distribution site. There will be another distribution for this objective before the completion of the project.
