Raising awareness on Respect, a Key Citizenship Value
In 2025's last quarter, TIPA conducted 12 awareness activities on mutual respect across classes and whole schools, followed by targeted follow-ups to evaluate impact. Insights from two schools revealed different experiences:
Overall, the findings reinforce that building a culture of mutual respect requires consistent practice, adult role modelling, and dedicated capacity-building efforts.
Collective thinking with Key Stakeholders
At the end of last year, TIPA brought together key educational stakeholders to strengthen collaboration and align objectives around its first strategic priority: fostering regular dialogue among Parents, Teachers and Children (PTC). The half-day Stakeholders Meeting saw principals school inspectors, cluster coordinators and school head masters dive into discussions on what makes a nurturing environment for children.
Through group work, participants explored actionable initiatives within TIPA’s scope, brainstormed new ideas, and mapped out how everyone can play a role in supporting children’s growth—insights that will help shape updates to the strategic plan. The meeting wrapped up with an insightful discussion on which projects should launch first, what challenges may arise and how everyone wants to keep the momentum going together.
