Homeless with three kids! You changed that.

By Kenita Smith | President/CEO & Founder

Education is a powerful catalyst for transforming families, breaking cycles of hardship, and opening doors to opportunities.

Imagine being a single mother who relocated from Florida to Georgia, pursuing a cybersecurity degree after overcoming homelessness and job loss. Now imagine doing all you can to provide for your 3 children (17, 3, and 5), but life's circumstances rendering you helpless with no where to turn.

That's what happened to one of our single parents who ran from a domestic violence situation seeking a better life, but fell on hard times. She lost her job and found her and her children without shelter.

YOU CHANGED THAT by offering her a way to empower herself and her family. You helped her secure housing and allowed her to work towards a college education. When her rent soared to $2,000 a month for a two bedroom apartment, you paid her balance to prevent her eviction and experiencing homelessness again. Yet, you didn't stop there.

You also covered the $3k+ it costs for her children to enjoy summer camp for the first-time.

She didn't have to worry about her children going hungry because she received quarterly grocery gift cards of $250 and even $100 gas cards to make sure she doesn't loose her job due to poor attendance.

What you did gave her HOPE and an opportunity to thrive. Now her kids will experience a ripple effect that builds generational stability.

Thank you for helping our mom's triumph through uncertain circumstances. We couldn't do it without your help.
