One participant, a survivor of domestic violence, walked into Hope Inc. carrying all that weight but determined to rewrite her future. She chose nursing school, not only to heal herself but to uplift others. This April, she will graduate, and her children will have witnessed perseverance in action. She is one of many. Our participants face divorces, losses, and some are still leaving domestic violence situations—rebuilding their lives while shielding their children from fear. Yet 100 have crossed the graduation stage, and our 84% graduation rate proves that with support, resilience flourishes.

But today, 195 families are waiting. And waiting isn’t just waiting—it’s pressure mounting by the day. These families need emergency rental help. While our program can’t act overnight, imagine facing eviction, waiting four to seven weeks, and knowing the wait has grown even longer because we lack the funding. The longer they wait, the closer they come to losing their homes. Sleepless nights, the fear of uprooting their kids from school—it’s the reality they face every day.
