Rwanda-one4one continues to focus on one mission above all: education. We believe that every child deserves the chance to learn, grow, and build a brighter future. Thanks to the generosity of our supporters, more children are returning to classrooms each year, filled with hope and determination.
Current Highlights
This year, our sponsored students successfully returned to school with renewed excitement. With access to uniforms, books, meals, and tuition support, they are not only attending classes but thriving in them.
18 students currently supported through Rwanda-one4one
Representing different age groups, from early childhood to university level.
Covering a wide range of academic interests: sciences, languages, math, social studies, hospitality, and the arts.
Student Stories of Impact
Divine (18): Loves helping her mother and siblings. She is studying social sciences and dreams of becoming a teacher, sharing her knowledge and giving back to her community.
Ornella & Olga (13-year-old twins): Both love reading and languages, but their dreams diverge—Ornella aspires to be a doctor for vulnerable people, while Olga wants to become a pilot, traveling the world and opening horizons for others.
Amador (7): Fascinated by toy cars and soccer, he is passionate about machines and hopes to one day become a mechanic.
Thierry (12): Loves math puzzles and soccer, and dreams of being a professional driver serving his community in Musanze.
Jehovania (22): Inspired by debates and public speaking, she is determined to study law and stand up for the voiceless.
Clever (19): With a love for soccer, painting, and school drama, he is committed to pursuing medicine and becoming a doctor.
These stories highlight not just personal dreams, but the transformative power of education — giving young people the tools to lift themselves and their communities.
The Ripple Effect of Education
Education doesn’t stop at the classroom door. Each child supported creates a ripple of impact:
Families are uplifted as children bring home knowledge and confidence.
Communities grow stronger when youth aspire to become teachers, doctors, engineers, and leaders.
A culture of hope emerges, breaking cycles of poverty and replacing them with opportunity.
