Thank you to everyone who has supported the EmpowerShe Skill Training Project through GlobalGiving. Your belief in empowering women in Ghana means a great deal to us.
Since our last report, we have raised an additional $35, bringing our total funds raised to $65. While this amount is not yet sufficient to launch the full training program, we are committed to stewarding these funds responsibly and using them when they can have meaningful impact.
During this period, our team focused on critical groundwork to prepare for successful implementation. This included identifying women in the community who are eager to participate, outlining training content in sewing, catering, and basic small-business management, and engaging local partners who can support hands-on skill development when funding allows. These preparatory efforts are essential to ensuring the program is effective and sustainable once launched.
Our main challenge continues to be limited fundraising, which has delayed the start of direct training activities. However, we remain committed to the vision of EmpowerShe and are actively working on strategies to increase visibility, engage more donors, and raise the funds needed to begin training in phases.
Every contribution, regardless of size, brings us closer to equipping women with practical skills to create sustainable livelihoods for themselves and their families. We are deeply grateful for your support and look forward to sharing further progress as EmpowerShe moves forward.
