By Juan Jose Bobadilla | Project Leader
From a very young age, Leonardo discovered that movement was his way of expressing himself. Whether running after a soccer ball or spinning to the rhythm of the Marinera, a peruvian dance, he has always felt that every step brings him closer to his dreams.
His biggest dream is to become a professional soccer player. On the field, Leonardo demonstrates the same passion, discipline, and perseverance that he applies to every aspect of his life. He doesn’t compete only to win, but to surpass his own limits. Each training session is a chance to prove that constant effort can turn dreams into reality.
But soccer is not his only passion. Leonardo has also practiced marinera for several years, an art that allows him to connect with his roots and express the joy and pride of being peruvian. His talent has led him to earn first-place awards in competitions, and when he dances, he says he feels complete.
His mother remembers with gratitude the moment when Leonardo joined Perú Champs. “It was a great help for us”, she said. Since becoming part of the Champs community, Leonardo has strengthened not only his academic knowledge but also his leadership and confidence.
With every goal he scores, with every marinera step he performs, Leonardo carries the message that dreams are reached through passion, hard work, and conviction.
